Community Involvement & Memberships

Supporting the Community for Over 25 Years

As a regional accounting firm, RBT CPAs, LLP takes tremendous pride in giving back to the community. We care deeply about where we live and work, and encourage all of our team members to become involved in community projects.

RBT CPAs, LLP supports many community-based organizations, but our passion lies in working with those groups that directly make a measurable difference in people’s lives by securing resources and developing relationships to build a stronger, more vibrant community. One of those organizations is the United Way of Orange County.

Our firm has been involved with the United Way of Orange County for over 25 years. The United Way was established in 1887. A Denver priest, two ministers, and a rabbi recognized the need for cooperative actions to address their city’s welfare problems. The Rev. Myron W. Reed, Msgr. William J. O’Ryan, Dean H. Martyn Hart and Rabbi William S. Friedman put their heads together to plan the first United Way campaign for ten health and welfare agencies. They created an organization to serve as an agent to collect funds for local charities, as well as to coordinate relief services, counsel and refer clients to cooperating agencies, and make emergency assistance grants in cases which could not be referred. That year, Denver raised $21,700 and created a movement that would spread throughout the country to become the United Way. Over 188 years later, United Way is still focused on mobilizing the caring power of communities and making a difference in people’s lives.

In addition, the following is a list of organizations that have benefitted from the commitment of RBT CPAs, LLP partners and team members.
