Jennifer R. George, CPA

Jennifer joined the firm in 1998 and was admitted as a partner as of January 1, 2013. She is the Director of Compliance for the firm. In this role, she is responsible for the Firm’s Accounting and Auditing quality control, including all auditor’s reports and financial statements that the Firm issues. She performs technical research to determine how new standards will affect the Firm’s clients and the best methods of implementation. She is dedicated to providing our clients with thorough and expert information upon which they can rely. Her experience includes auditing and providing accounting and financial statement preparation assistance for many types of entities, including small to mid-sized commercial clients, non-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, and governmental entities.

Jennifer serves on the McGladrey Alliance Accounting and Auditing Leader Roundtable. This group meets frequently to maintain currency with new standards/initiatives and to share ideas and best practices. She was selected to serve on the McGladrey Small Audit Committee. This committee was formed to redesign McGladrey’s audit template to more appropriately address the needs of smaller, privately held companies. This committee was made up of national experts, McGladrey representatives, and three members of McGladrey alliance firms selected for their knowledge and experience as auditors of small businesses. Jennifer regularly communicates the information discussed in these forums to RBT CPAs, LLP professional staff members and is the Firm’s resource for accounting and auditing standards and quality control.
